FIFA has released the June 2012 WORLD RANKINGs. SPAIN remains the Nº1 Football Nation, while Uruguay lands into Nº2 position, Portugal has a sharp drop & Japan makes a big jump in rankings.

FIFA RANKING MARCH 2012 | SPAIN REMAINS Nº1

FIFA has released its monthly ranking of Football Nations for March. SPAIN remains on top as the Nº1 Football National Team followed by Holland which regains the second spot from Germany which falls to third. A total of 91 International matches (of which 70 were Friendly) were taken into account from last month to add (or subtracted) points from the National Teams.

The current FIFA World & European Champions, SPAIN , has for a consecutive fourth year finished Nº1 Rank Football National Team in the FIFA RANKING. The World Football Authority released its Final 2011 list today with Spain on top with 1,564 pts.

FIFA WORLD RANKING NOVEMBER 2011 | SPAIN STILL Nº 1

FIFA released today its monthy ranking with SPAIN retaining the Nº1 spot for the month of NOVEMBER as the "Best Football Nation in the World". However, the defeat against England in a Friendly International & the last moment draw against COSTA RICA has narrowed the points gap with the second placed nation , HOLLAND, which lost as well against Germany in their last match.

FIFA WORLD RANKING SEPTEMBER 2011 | SPAIN REGAINS Nº 1

World Football governing body ( organization)  FIFA has released its monthly "World Rankings" for September with the SPANISH FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM regaining its Nº 1 spot after falling to Nº 2 place last month. The victories over Chile in a Friendly International & Liechtenstein in their Group Euro 2012 match have served to allow SPAIN to overtake Holland.

FIFA WORLD RANKINGS | SPAIN LOSES Nº 1 SPOT TO HOLLAND

The SPANISH FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM has "suffered" the effects of being defeated  2 - 1 by Italy in their last Friendly International match by losing the Nº1 FIFA World Ranking position. The current FIFA World Champions have dropped to the Nº 2 position to see HOLLAND now be ranked as the "Best National Team" ( Nº1 ) for the month of August.

The novelty is Uruguay which jumps to Nº5 after winning the "Copa America", & this position for them is a historical first since FIFA began its rankings.
